Our client is the local electricity network company which supplies 27,000 electricity consumers in the Mid and Far North of New Zealand. They are currently seeking qualified experienced Line Mechanics to join their busy contracting services team.
The key areas of focus for this role will be:
- Line construction
- Maintenance and fault correction work
- Cable repair (overhead and underground)
- Health and Safety
These positions will suit line mechanics with experience in the installation of new equipment and services to both overhead lines and underground cables, including repair and service.
To be considered, applicants must hold a full current drivers licence, HT license and be NZ registered. You must also be able to participate in a standby roster.
Successful applicants will receive
